TOPIC OF THE MONTH: GRADUATION
This topic deals with the graduation arrangements, and the school committee responsible for the entire function. Over the years it was accepted that the school only will make these arrangements, but we live in dynamic times, and with society is modernizing rapidly, and both parents and students have come to expect more from this momentous occasion. It is a fact that the format and content of the graduation exercises have not changed for many years, and the significant importance of this turning point in the lives of our children is not fully emphasized in the present arrangements. Even more so, the certificates, prizes and gifts awarded must remain spectacular symbols of great achievements long after pomp and ceremony fades from the minds of the graduates. After all, the certificate represents the sum total of seven years of achievement. And while a trophy is an enduring symbol of achievement, gifts of units, shares, education funds for our top achievers are much more practical and beneficial.
THE CERTIFICATE ON THE LEFT WAS AWARDED FRAMED IN 2005 AND 2006.
THE CERTIFICATE BELOW WAS AWARDED FRAMED IN 2007.
Who made the decision to switch, and why?
